I’ve gained 2lbs since quarantine hahaha. Probably because I’ve been doing a lot of this, I’ve been doing home work outs and 1 hours walk almost every day, but it’s just not the same as the gym, I miss it so much! Med alt som skjer rundt oss akkurat nå så vil jeg si at styrketreninger viktigere enn noen sinne. Og det har Ingenting å gjøre med å forbrenne kalorier. __ Akkurat nå er kanskje ikke den beste tiden for deg å gå på en ekstrem diett eller komme i din beste form noen sinne ( men for noe er det kanskje det ?) , Men det betyr ikke at du bør ignorere trening helt. Styrketrening har faktisk utrolig Mange flere fordeler enn bare å bygge muskler og brenne kalorier. __ For meg personlig er en av deg største fordelene med trening at det reduserer stress og nervøsitet og at jeg får et bedre forhold til kroppen min. __ Når jeg må fokusere på å løfte vekter, ha god teknikk og kjenne etter hvordan musklene jobber kan jeg blokkere ut hverdagen. Det er kun meg og kroppen min og det er fantastisk. Jeg kan aldri slappe av så mye som etter at jeg har trent og sover EKSTREMT mye bedre. Styrketrening har også gjort at jeg har fåttet mye bedre forhold til kroppen min. Jeg aksepterer at jeg har svakheter og styrker og at alle er forskjellige ♥️ __ En annen ting styrketrening gjør for meg er at jeg kan fokusere og konsentrere meg mye bedre. Jeg er mye mye mer produktiv. I tillegg er jeg i mye bedre humør og takler mye mer "trykk" på jobb og hverdagen. __ Jeg kjenner det også på energinivået dersom jeg ikke får trent. Jeg har lavt stoffskifte og uten styrketrening hadde jeg nok ikke orket å gjøre like mye som jeg gjør. __ Før løp jeg en god del mer og spilte fotball. Jeg hadde konstant vondter. Selv når jeg drev aktivt med klatring så hadde jeg vondt i knær og albuer. Først etter at jeg begynte med ordentlig styrketrening begynte jeg å få mindre skader og vondter. Styrketrening med fult bevegelsesutslag øker også funksjonell bevegeligheten. Jeg har alltid vart myk, men først med styrketrening kunne jeg faktisk ta i bruk denne bevegeligheten. __ Du må selvfølgelig ikke trene knallhard styrke og bruke flere timer inne i et styrkerom. Folk er forskjellige og har ulike driv. Men gjør noe form for styrketrening, noe som belaster musklene og leddene og som utfordrer deg. Noe der du må pushe deg selv litt og må fokusere ordentlig. Noe der du kjenner at spesifikke muskler jobber. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

So yesterday early evening I was feeling good. I’d finished day 1 of my new challenge and I was feeling pumped. But then I saw the news that @borisjohnsonuk had been transferred into intensive care and it floored me. That’s the harsh reality about all of this. Throughout the day we can do things to keep our minds off what’s happening and then all of a sudden, you hear or read something that has you crashing back down again. It’s sobering, it’s scary and it’s horrible. Regardless of your political stance, there’s no denying this man has worked tirelessly over the last few months to protect us and has been a pillar of strength in an incredibly difficult, frightening and uncertain time. He has a baby on the way and I can’t imagine how his wife must be feeling now. Hurry up and get better Boris, the country needs you!! I went to bed tearful and anxious. I’m anxious for my family, for my elderly parents, for my kids, for my friends, for my country, for the whole world. I lay wide awake for hours last night wondering when this will ever end. How long will it take to get over this? Even once lockdown has been lifted, paranoia will be high, people will be worried. The economy will take years to recover and then there are the front line workers who will most likely need counselling as they’ve had to watch as hundreds of people die in their care. Whilst I lay in my bed, safe and physically well I couldn’t help but think about all the people in intensive care fighting for their lives. All the families and loved ones who’ve already lost someone to this cruel illness. It kept me awake for hours. But today is another day. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
