This song arose from a well of grief that made its way into a healing frequency for all, carrying some water and whale medicine. (Turn up volume to hear full tones.) The magnitude and intensity of how I’ve been feeling for myself and for the collective had culminated and spilled over into what felt like a yearning for forgiveness of self and others, to let go of control more, to honour the old ways, and to make space for the new ways yet to come. In a vision I was shown that water and whales are carriers of all the souls both leaving and coming to the Earth. They are connected to the Sirius Star System, so they are a bridge between the ancestors of the Earth and Stars.
I was sitting in Ceremony and a vision came where I saw myself offering this song as a prayer for healing. Grief has been a practice of honouring for me, finding ways to transform that grief into offerings for the land and its beings is what helps me to understand and integrate the lessons of grief. When we hold space for our hearts in this way, grief can become a thing of beauty, it can nourish the earth because it has transformed into an expression of deep and profound love.
Sending you all love and healing during these deeply emotional times.
