Anyone else? 😅🙋‍♀️ . . . I truly find that the times when I’m the most caught up in “the matrix” are also the times when I lose my connection to nature, and thus, my inner peace/harmony. I’ve been struggling to find a balance between living a modern, adult lifestyle with work and bills and school, and being a blissed out, tree-hugging hippie - if you will. I feel like I’m either smiling at strangers for no reason and jamming out to positive music in my car like no one’s watching, embodying universal love and self-respect, or I’m totally angry, lonely and stressed out.... with no real in-betweens. . . As much as I would love to only be that carefree wild child who is content with crunching on a cucumber and meditating daily, she’s only a part of who I am, and I’m still learning to love the other parts; the parts that are human and imperfect. Because those are the parts that lead to infinite growth - we just need to accept them and listen 💖

Jeden Tag frisches Obst und Gemüse. Vor 1,5 Jahren noch eine Selbstverständlichkeit. Zwischenzeitlich nicht mehr wichtig. Das ändert sich nun wieder. Schließlich hat man als Mama seinem Kind gegenüber eine Vorbildfunktion. Die Basis, die ich für meine Tochter geschaffen habe, ist ideal. Nun ja, ein Teil der Basis sind natürlich auch die Gene. Die Veranlagung zum Übergewicht ist daher schon da. Ich ernähre sie aber bestmöglich. Super abwechslungsreich, mega gesund, immer Bio vom Markt oder aus eigenem Anbau und -sofern möglich- aus dem Dampfgarer. Doch ein Großteil ihrer späteren Ernährung macht das aus, was wir als Eltern ihr vorleben. Habe ich zumindest gelesen und es erscheint mir sehr logisch. Daher noch ein Grund mehr, es zu schaffen. Heute war meine #mama zu Besuch und ich habe uns den köstlichen *Flammkuchen mit Rote Bete* aus der #wwapp gemacht. Pro Stück (1/8 Blech) 3 SP. Don’t ever think that because you haven’t train for months that you can’t start over because you can. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Do it for you. Make it a habit. Yes, I mean you have to keep doing it. I remember what it was like to not understand those people who got up early to hit a fitness class, pump iron, or ran marathons. Then I became one of those people. Then I developed the habit and made it apart of my life and you can too. Chocolate Mousse (Dairy & Gluten free): Ingredients: 200g Dark Chocolate 1/2 cup (120ml) Aquafaba 1/2 cup (100g) coconut sugar Method: 1. In a heat-proof bowl above simmering water, melt chocolate. Then, set aside to cool. 2. Using a stand mixer, or hand mixer with double beater attachments, whip aquafaba and sugar until it forms stiff peaks (should take about 10 minutes). 3. Fold in the slightly cooled melted chocolate until fully combined. 4. Spoon mousse into serving glass and chill for an hour. 5. Serve with chocolate shavings and fresh strawberries or raspberries! Note: Aquafaba is the liquid from cooked chickpeas. Then, keeping your arms straight and your feet flexed, raise your right leg out to the side with the knee bent to 90 degrees. As you raise your leg out to the side, keep your ankle in line with your knee. Do not let your foot get above your knee or your knee go up above your foot. You want to try to raise your lower leg parallel to the ground. Also, don’t simply lean away to get your leg up higher. Keep your core tight and lift from the hip using your glute. Hold at the top then lower back down. Make sure to hold for 1-2 seconds. Do not rush through the lift. Make sure you do not bend your arms to get your leg up higher. Squeeze your butt and make sure you feel it activate. Range of motion isn’t important as long as you feel your glute working. You may even feel this in the glute of the leg on the floor because it is working to stabilize. Do 10-15 reps, 3 sets. And that’s the end of week 2! Today was going to be a rest day before I start Beach Body level 3 tomorrow, but then @resultswithlucy wheeled out the Guilt Free Christmas challenge and I wanted to have a go. I’m going to try and finish beach body alongside this challenge but if it gets too much then I’ll just space the workouts out more so I’m getting enough rest. The trash and recycling that collect our waste. The water dispenser that helps keep us hydrated. The flag that my family received when my grandfather died so many years ago, and the painting that HIS grandfather painted.
