I survived the final crucible. — 800 reps total. 8 moves X 100 reps per move. — You better bet there were times I wanted to quit. There were times when I had to modify and maybe a couple times I cussed at the computer, but I didn’t. — The trainer said something key when it came to sticking with it. He asked us to dig deep and remember why we started this program 6 weeks ago and to use that to power through. I chose to do this to prove that I can push through the hard, not just in fitness, but in my business to. It was emotional when I finished the last 10 reps (Burpees) because I fucking did it. I have one more workout before starting round 2 on Monday. I can’t wait to continue on this path to becoming physically and mentally stronger. Want to do it with me?

I slept till 11am, woke up & ate. Then moved to the couch & slept another 3 hours. I had a total of 300 & some steps in for the day. I knew needed to get a work out in & I needed to get another 7600 steps in for my #StepBet . Thank you C4 for giving me that energy needed. . I got some legs done thanks to @brianakfitness which MURDERED them. My legs are strong but holy hell, I don’t do movements like this ever. Then I found a couple of walking videos on youtube & stepped around for a hour getting 4 miles in. . Never would I have thought on a Saturday night I would of pushed myself to be active. I always feel great after & I think that’s what helped me in getting it done. . Spicy Peanut Kale Salad INGREDIENTS 3 bunches kale cut into pieces 1⁄2 red onion chopped Spicy Peanut Dressing 1 cup natural peanut butter 2 cloves garlic chopped 3⁄4 tablespoon fresh ginger chopped 1⁄4 cup rice vinegar 1⁄4 cup low sodium tamari 1⁄4 cup brown rice syrup or honey 1⁄2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 dash salt 2 fl oz shot water DIRECTIONS 1. Wash kale well. Remove large, tough stems and cut or break large leaves into pieces. 2. Blanch in boiling water for about 2-3 minutes. Transfer the kale with a slotted spoon to a bowl full of ice water to cool it immediately. 3. Drain well and squeeze out all the liquid with your hands. 4. Place the dressing ingredients (except the hot water) into a high powered blender and blend until the mixture becomes smooth. Add water to thin sauce. 5. Drizzle about half the dressing on top of the kale and mix the two together. Add more dressing until kale looks coated. You'll probably have dressing leftover (read notes for ideas of what to do with it). 6. Garnish kale salad with chopped red onions and serve. This is my kind of dinner!😋🍗🍋 Here’s the recipe.📝👩🏼‍🍳 Oven-Roasted Chicken Shawarma • 2 tablespoons lemon juice • 4 teaspoons olive oil • 1 clove garlic, peeled, smashed and minced • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt • ½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper • ½ teaspoons ground cumin • ½ teaspoons paprika • ½ teaspoon turmeric • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon • ¼ tsp Red pepper flakes, to taste • 36 ounces raw boneless, skinless chicken breasts • 1 cup scallions • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley PREPARATION Prepare a marinade for the chicken. Combine the lemon juice, 3 tsp. olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon and red pepper flakes in a large bowl, then whisk to combine. Add the chicken and toss well to coat. Cover and store in refrigerator for at least 1 hour and up to 12 hours. When ready to cook, heat oven to 425 degrees. Use the remaining teaspoon of olive oil to grease a rimmed sheet pan. Add the scallions to the chicken and marinade, and toss once to combine. Remove the chicken and scallions from the marinade, and place on the pan, spreading everything evenly across it. Put the chicken in the oven and roast until it is browned, crisp at the edges and cooked through, about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, allow to rest 2 minutes, then slice into bits. Scatter the parsley over the top, surround with lemon wedges and serve.
